星星岛儿童隐私政策

星星岛是给 3～6 岁孩子用的学习 App。我们知道孩子的信息格外需要保护，所以把 App 设计成不收集、不上传。本政策写给家长（监护人），请您阅读并同意后再让孩子使用。

一、我们不收集任何信息

• 星星岛没有服务器，不注册账号，不需要手机号、邮箱。
• 不接入任何第三方统计、广告、推送或分析工具。
• 不获取位置、通讯录、相册、设备标识（IDFA）等信息。
• 不追踪孩子，也不会向孩子展示广告或引导购买。

二、App 在您的设备上保存哪些内容

为了让学习能继续、能给家长看报告，App 会在您自己的设备上保存：

• 孩子资料：您填写的昵称、选择的头像和颜色、生日（可不填）、读题语言等设置；
• 学习记录：答题记录、闯关进度、学过的字词、听过的故事、贴纸；
• 使用设置：每日时长限制、今天已用时长、当前是哪个孩子在学。

建议昵称不要用孩子的真实全名。

三、iCloud 同步

如果设备登录了 iCloud，上面的孩子资料和学习记录会通过 Apple 的 CloudKit 保存在您自己 iCloud 账号的私有空间里，用于在您的 iPhone、iPad 之间同步。这部分数据由 Apple 按其隐私政策保管，我们（开发者）无法看到或访问。不登录 iCloud 时，数据只保存在本机。

四、麦克风和语音识别

"跟读"功能需要听孩子读的声音，判断读得对不对。

• 第一次使用时系统会询问权限，您可以拒绝，不影响其它功能；
• 识别只在本机完成（系统的本地语音识别），声音不录成文件、不保存、不上传；
• 可以随时在"设置 → 隐私与安全性"里关闭。

五、AI 生成内容说明

App 里部分故事插图和识字插图由 AI 图像模型生成，中文、英文朗读由 AI 语音合成，均经人工逐一挑选、审核后打包进 App。App 运行时不会实时调用 AI 生成内容。

六、家长的权利

• 查看：家长中心可以查看每个孩子的学习报告和答题记录；
• 更正：家长中心可以修改孩子的昵称、头像、生日和设置；
• 删除：在家长中心删除孩子，会同时删除该孩子的所有记录；删除 App 会清除本机数据；iCloud 中的数据可在"设置 → Apple 账户 → iCloud → 管理储存空间"中删除。
• 撤回同意：您可以随时停止使用并删除 App。

家长中心需要通过家长验证才能进入，防止孩子误操作。

七、政策更新

如果以后 App 增加联网功能或改变数据处理方式，我们会更新本政策，并在 App 内请您重新确认。

Star Island Children's Privacy Policy

Star Island is a learning app for children aged 3–6. Children's information deserves extra care, so the app is designed to collect nothing and upload nothing. This policy is written for parents and guardians — please read and agree to it before your child uses the app.

1. We don't collect any information

• Star Island has no servers, no sign-up, and never asks for a phone number or email.
• No third-party analytics, advertising, push or tracking SDKs.
• No location, contacts, photos or advertising identifier (IDFA).
• We never track children, show them ads, or prompt them to buy anything.

2. What the app stores on your device

So learning can continue and parents can see reports, the app stores on your own device:

• Child profiles: the nickname you enter, chosen avatar and color, birthday (optional), reading-language setting;
• Learning records: answers, level progress, characters and words learned, stories listened to, stickers;
• Settings: daily time limit, time used today, which child is currently learning.

We suggest using a nickname rather than your child's full real name.

3. iCloud sync

If the device is signed in to iCloud, profiles and learning records are stored through Apple's CloudKit in the private database of your own iCloud account, to sync between your iPhone and iPad. Apple keeps this data under its own privacy policy; we (the developer) cannot see or access it. Without iCloud, data stays on the device only.

4. Microphone and speech recognition

The read-aloud practice listens to your child to check pronunciation.

• The system asks for permission on first use; you may decline and everything else still works;
• Recognition happens entirely on the device (Apple's on-device speech recognition). Audio is never recorded to a file, stored, or uploaded;
• You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security.

5. AI-generated content

Some story and character illustrations were created with an AI image model, and Chinese and English narration was produced with AI speech synthesis. Every item was reviewed and selected by people before being bundled into the app. The app does not generate AI content at runtime.

6. Parents' rights

• View: the Parent Center shows each child's report and answer history;
• Correct: edit a child's nickname, avatar, birthday and settings in the Parent Center;
• Delete: deleting a child in the Parent Center removes all of that child's records; deleting the app clears on-device data; iCloud data can be removed in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.
• Withdraw consent: you may stop using and delete the app at any time.

The Parent Center is protected by a parental gate.

7. Changes

If the app ever adds online features or changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and ask you to agree again in the app.
